Our partners at HBO brought us in to help promote Murder in Boston with a trailer on Max. I came up with a design that visits ominous scenes of Boston through a grainy and degraded black and white lense. This helps establish a tone that pulls viewers into the environment of late 80’s Boston where a murder investigation is about to make every black man in the city a target of police surveillance, scrutiny and menace.
